crawling

Amirah officially commenced her crawling on 13th August 2008!! from 1-2 steps to so many steps.. and she started to even chased our cat, tunin! Whenever she managed to go to Tunin, she will grab the cat with her hand and the thing is that, Tunin did not go away from her. Tunin just stayed there and looked as if nothing happened. We tried to get Tunin as far as we could from Amirah but Amirah kept crawling to Tunin. She even started to crawl to the stairs in between the living and the dining hall. even though she just started to crawl, she already showed some sign to stand up and prepared to walk. at night, she would climb mama and tried to stand while supporting her body using her hands against mama just so that she could watch the tv that mama was blocking.

her new skill besides all those was that she was able to lift up the table that was attached to her high chairs using her legs and her hands. whenever she did that, she would smile naughtyly to mama or papa... papa even taught her to pad her hand to the table and said "i want food! i want food!" and she successfully imitated that.... aiyooo... bad influence laa papa ni... hehe... well, at least mama knows when mama's baby ni is hungry... hehe

anak mama ni even drinks water from the cup.... she started doing this since she was 7-8 months old. nak jadi macam orang besar, semua benda yang orang besar buat, dia nak buat jugak including drinking from the cup. she cant really drink from the bottle... nanti mesti tersedak.. kalau minum dari cawan, tak tersedak pulak... bukan cup yang ada spout tuh... this is the real cup that we are talking about.... bila dah berjaya minum dari cup, nanti dia punyer laa tersengih sengih, puas hati sangat sangat laa tu...

lagi satu... biler amirah geram, dia akan start gigit apa apa yang dia boleh capai... contohnya amirah akan tarik jari mama dan gigit jari mama.... tak pon dia akan datang kat mama dan gigit lengan mama ke kaki mama ke, apa apa la... sampai papa gelar amirah anak dracula sebab suka sangat gigit gigit biler dia geramkan sth. kat papa pulak, amirah suka tarik bulu kaki papa... lepas tarik, amirah akan gelak sebab berjaya tarik... papa pulak akan jerit kesakitan, bila papa jerit, amirah akan ikut jerit, pas tuh mulalaa lawan lawan jerit anak beranak... pas tu Si Di ngan Si Ti naik atas check asal laa budak kecik ni jerit jerit....

minggu kenduri kendara

Since tarikh 08/08/08 datang sekali sajer seumur hidup, semua orang berlumba lumba untuk menjadikan tarikh tersebut a memorable day. So, over the weekend we got so many wedding invitations to attend, varied from bangi, shah alam till ampang. on saturday, we got to attend my ex-roommate(MRSM Taiping)'s wedding kat Bangi. Aneesa looked so happy on her wedding. I really love her theme color of apple green and pink that I think I wanted to have the same colors for Amirah's first birthday. need to discuss with hubby on this.. anyway, congrats Neesa on your wedding.. we are so happy for you.

next, we went to Tai & Azreen's (Purdue) and Jaja's (ATU4) weddings in Shah Alam.. by the time we got to Jaja's house, we were so full that we only had her nice coconut jelly. Even Amirah liked the jelly so much... Jaja's wedding was different than others that she had the bbq concept for her wedding. How we wished we came to her wedding first! hehe...

by the end of the day, we went to Setia Alam, to Kak Ju's sister's house for her house warming. We had our all time favorite nasi daging which we usually had it during Hari Raya in Penang. Kakak, Ijat, Kak Ju and Aeryna were also there. Amirah took her bath there before we went back to Kajang. What a tiring day especially for Amirah. Luckily, unlike other kids, she was really strong as we could see it from the first day she was born. With the fact that she was born 4 weeks earlier, she was incubated for only half a day and she was doing well since then. Growing up as a happy and cheerful baby, she always smiling and looks so adorable to everbody. She seldomly fall sick as we took really good care of her. Wherever she goes, she will smile and talk to anybody she met, in the mall, in the bakery, anywhere laaa...

Amirah really enjoys main kejar kejar dengan mama... everynight, before we went to our room upstairs, SiDi and SiTi will kiss Amirah goodnight and then papa will carry Amirah upstairs. on the way to the room, Amirah will play kejap kejar with mama until we reach our room. Amirah will giggle giggle and terjerit jerit naik atas... papa pulak lari lari anak while carrying her... In the room, papa will put Amirah on the bed, and then we continued main kejar kejar.... this time, Amirah will crawl as fast as her can to save herself from mama... as usual, terjerit jerit lagi... sampai laaa SiDi and SiTi naik atas, wondering what's going on with her....

She will play around, watch tv with us or mama will read a book to her before she went to sleep everynight... tido leset sampai mama ngan papa kena tido hujung katil... nasib baik katil size super king.... kalau queen alamatnyer dah selamat dah papa ngan mama jatuh katil, bukan amirah...

olympic

Amirah sangat suka tgok tv sekarang.... kartun tuh tak payah cerita laa... papa went home a bit late on Friday.. mama really wanted to watch the opening ceremony of olympic... so, mama quickly took amirah upstairs and switch to olympic channel 816. Amirah played on the bed next to mama while mama was watching the opening ceremony. without mama realizing it, amirah actually watched the opening ceremony together with mama... she was so fascinated with the opening ceremony especially on the part when a small girl wearing a red dress singing a song and a part when the national athem of China was played where the children raised their hands up. She really enjoyed watching the ceremony that she also raised her hand up imitating the children when the national anthem of China was played. what a brilliant daughter laa Amirah ni... mama and papa are so proud of you, dear

9 months old

08/08/08 - Amirah genap 9 bulan hari ni... what a nice date today... happy birthday sayang... sekarang amirah dah pandai duduk... dia belom boleh merangkak tapi aksi merangkak tuh dah ada... cuma setempat sajer... dari keadaan nak merangkak tuh, amirah sudah boleh pusing dan duduk dengan sendirinyer... we are so proud of you,dear.... genap 9 bulan hari ni, skill amirah dah bertambah lagi... Finally, Amirah managed to take a few steps crawling. lepas setapak dua merangkak, dia kembali ke posisi meniarap.... she's also very fascinate of the stairs... nampak tangga aje, dia akan minta orang yang dukung dia to hold her so that she can stands and steps up the stairs.... aiyooo... bahaya laa ini macam... papa ngan mama kena ambil remedial actions ASAP!
