Amirah Elisha: August 2011

26th August 2011 (Friday) - this day commemorates the last day of Amirah's school at Taska... Mama terasa sedih pulak sket sket... apa tah lagi Amirah, tuan empunyer badan. i'm sure she will miss her Taska, her teachers and especially her friends. Aisyah Ram, Dina, Echa, Elly, Amani, Nurul, etc. Well, Amirah will turn 5 next year. She needs to have better education. Current taska only provides babysitting and nursery, that's the disadvantage of it. Otherwise, it is a perfect place and heaven for kids. Besides that, Taska won't accept her little sister, Fina due to overload of kids. Fina has been in the waiting list since she was born and now, she's almost 2 yrs old. So, we had decided to keep the sisters together by sending them to other place after Raya holiday. Its going to be a totally different world for Amirah and Fina. Truthfully, Mama is a bit worry about that. For Amirah, she needs to cope with new friends and adapt with the new environment, now with books and syllabus. She will be taught in English, plus bahasa, mandarin n jawi classes. For Fina, she definitely need to adapt with the new enviroment, but i guess she will be better in adapting herself as she's still young and she never have any experience in taska before cause our maid is currently taking care of her at home.

Mama gave the teacher a camera that day to take some pictures of Amirah and her friends. The pictures turned up well, except there were no teachers in any of the pics. So, mama gave the teacher the camera again today so that amirah could have some memories of her teachers as well.

Mama still remember that these are Amirah's friends that she used to talk about everyday, each time she came back from school. One of her best friends is Aisyah Ram (her pronunciation: Asharam). lately mama just found out that Aisyah Ram is the daughter of one of mama's seniors back in the University of Minnesota. Her dad is Ramzanul Borhan. Well, he got married with Baheeyah, also a senior in CMU and Aisyah is their first daughter whom they send to the same taska. According to teacher, both Amirah and Aisyah cannot be separated and they are really best friends. Aisyah is a year younger than Amirah. Well,its kind of sad that we have to separate them with the new school, knowing that Amirah now has a best friend and know how to treat her friends well.

Besides Aisyah Ram, there are also Dina and Elly. Heard that Dina and Elly are also good friends of Amirah and Aisyah but perhaps not as good as Aisyah. Almost everyday when Amirah got back from school, she will kept reporting to mama that Dina or Elly hit her or hit Aisyah Ram. well, you know how kids sometimes exaggerate things. Mama layan aje... besides that, there are also stories from Amirah of kids who are naughty will be put in the babycot. Well, i'm not sure how true it is but that's how a kid interprets things via seeing and observing.

Well, Mama hopes Amirah has a great time today with her friends on her last day of school at the taska. Mama also asked her to 'salam' all her friends today, in conjunction of her last day of school and hari raya. Today is also mama's last day at work before 2 weeks hari raya holidays.

After 2 weeks, Amirah and Fina will be going to their school together in which Amirah called the school, "School Red". Btw, Amirah call her taska as "School Orange". This is because she likes to color coded things around her.
