Another week has passed
Ciao Sayang and Amirah,
pejam celik... pejam celik, dah almost a month papa in Italy. the classes pun have started to go into details of the oil and gas businesses...
Amirah, papa is so proud of you. you have been making a lot of progress since i last saw you. how i wish i was there to share the excitement. keep up the great work and make your mama sweat... at least she has some exercise ;).
last weekend, papa went hiking at Cinque Terra, 5 cities by the sea, the mediterranean sea. the place is so beautiful with a scenic view of the ocean. the water is so crystal clear that you can see the rocky base below the water surface. papa went there with papa's classmates. there were 15 of us and we walked about 7 kilometers along the path that is perched on cliffs overlooking the sea. i would love to go there again when both of you are here, but then, we will take the boat ride to go from one city to the other ;)

open houses
hello papa,
papa lama tak update blog ni... busy ke? kitaorang kat sini rindu nak tahu perkembangan papa kat sana.. sihat ke? happy ke? anyway, last weekend amirah went to an-nur clinic to get her first flu shot for her preparation to Italy. at first she wanted to cry when Dr. gave her the shot tapi last last tak jadi cry... hehe... apparently, we became the first customer at the clinic tuh... kol 9.15 am, kitaorang dah balik... nak main pon tak sempat... sempat naik kuda kat bawah ni aje...

we attended so many open houses that weekend. nak citer satu satu, mama pon dah tak ingat... some of the houses that we went was rumah auntie jaja, mama punyer officemate kat Kota Seriemas. Kat rumah auntie jaja pon, kitaorang jadi antara early bird punyer visitor... lama betul duduk rumah auntie jaja... auntie jaja ngan uncle khairul sebuk melayan dia... ok laa tuh.... rileks sket mama... ada babysitters... hehe..

after rumah auntie jaja, kitaorang balik kajang and singgah open house rumah Dr, jiran sebelah rumah tuh... ni shots yang ambik kat rumah Dr. Kalau papa tgok set kerusi tuh, apa yang pelik?
maybe papa tak perasan until kalau papa tgok gambar anak papa ni:
taraaa..... mmg the size of the sofa sets are meant for kids!!! cute kan.... dah laaa bukan calang calang set nyer... macam set sofa kat rumah kita, only smaller size.... mama bet the price pon mesti quite expensize and difficult to get... but it was really cute when amirah sat on the chair... macam orang besar... hehe
on the way back dari rumah auntie jaja, we managed to dropped by our house to see the progress... dah siap dah... and rasanya CF pon patutnyer dah dapat... just tunggu kunci aje bile Sime nak kasi to owner... tak sabar mama nak ada rumah sendiri... duduk dengan papa dan amirah.. and managed one happy family!

CD ngan CT dah pergi Perth... mak tok ngan tok ayah pon dah sampai dari perlis... this week, kitaorang lepak rumah mak chak kat kota damansara... mak tok ngan tok ayah takes care of her when mama goes to work... on the first day of her stay with mak tok ngan tok ayah, mak tok said, amirah was really a good girl, like an angel.... she just stayed and played within the parameter of mak chak's L-shaped sofa.... when she was not playing, she would watch the cartoon or drank her milk... after mama got back home that night, she completely changed herself and started to crawl to the kitchen la, to the room laaa... mama balik aje, terus leset... aiyooo....
on one of those weeknight, mama went home early and took mak tok, tok ayah and amirah to the curve... sajer jalan jalan... and then we saw a new butterfly harness which really suits amirah... it is cute, pink in color and it really fits her well compared to the monkey harness because the monkey head made her feel uncomfortable... so, we decided to buy the butterfly harness for amirah and the monkey harness will be given to kak aeryna or abang arief since the monkey harness will be more suitable for them. .. at home, we tried on her and it really suits her!! once we put on the harness, she started to crawl around the house... macam butterfly yang baru dapat sayapnyer... so comellll!!

progress update
hello papa,
mama is quite busy lately... esp kat office.. boss assigned mama untuk buat environmental video for the plant besides my regular work.... and the dateline is very close... mama got no time to waste to meet dato' s dateline.. so, we made a small team and mama lead the team with the help of profesionals...
as for amirah, she showed lots of improvement lately... she had started to stand up independently without holding to sth... using the support of both legs, she would slowly lifted her body up.. pas tuh dah successfully berdiri, tersengih sengih pulak sebab managed to stand up... today, she even tried to take a few steps forward before terduduk balik... nasib baik ada diaper jadi span...
other than that, whenever mama said, "kiss mama", she would come closely to mama's face and kissed mama.... she opened her mouth a bit and kissed mama's cheek and made a sound "muahhh". so sweet la ....
besides that, she also had learnt to salam and cium tangan... so adorable... bila kita hulur tangan, amirah akan salam and tarik tangan kita untuk cium tangan... i think she developed this skill during time raya tuh.. watching people salam and cium tangan... and then, dapat duit raya.... hehehe.... the funny thing was, everytime pak ngah dia hulur tangan, amirah would salam and cium tangan pak ngah.... so many time... ni mesti amirah expect dia dapat duit raya bila salam pak ngah ni... tuh yang asyik salam and cium tangan pak ngah aje berkali kali selagi tak dapat duit raya... hehehe
mama tak ingat whether dah cerita blom about new teeth amirah kat bawah... ini menjadikan total tooth amirah is 7 all together; 3 on the bottom and 4 on the top..
one more thing... if you could remember, there are 2 framed photos dekat atas cabinet kat bawah; one is gambar family ambik time raya, and the other one gambar both of us waktu wedding kat kajang... biler dukung amirah and bawak dia dekat gambar tuh and asked her, mana satu papa? she will point towards your picture.... so clever one... both pictures, she can identify papa dier.... hehe
ingat tak maktok selalu main main ngan amirah --> saper nama amirah, angkat tangan!..... dulu dia tak angkat kan... kalau sekarang kita cakap, saper nama amirah, angkat tangan!... cepat cepat amirah akan angkat tangan dia..... excited btol angkat tangan.... suka tgok dia punyer response...
kalau biler dapat phone pulak, dia akan tekapkan phone tuh kat telinga dia, macam tgh cakap phone... tak pon biler kita cakap "hello, hello" cepat cepat laa dia capai apa apa yang boleh and letak kat telinga to say hello back..
kalau dapat remote tv atau remote apa aje, she will quickly point out to tv as if nak tukar channer tv tuh...
her favorite's cartoons sekarang are little eistein, thomas and friend, mickey mouse and friend, handy manny, and a few more... mostly kat channel disney playhouse... that channel is very useful laa for mental development especially for babies... i dont like astro ceria yang ada citer adi dan ayah, hikayat putera shazlan, etc.. rasa macam not really good or educational for kids and compared to disney playhouse....i dont want to introduce astro ceria to amirah..strictly prohibited since mama byk tgok young children are addicted to these types of show and asyik nak tgok aje citer tu sampai orang lain tak boleh ubah channel...
don't worry papa. even though it seems like amirah byk sgt progress nyer, i'm sure she will learn much more when we go and visit you in italy nanti... so that, papa takde laa miss byk sgt kay.... nanti papa boleh laa tgok amirah lari lari happily kat sana nanti, just like your dream kay? .. ok papa.... we miss u so much.... muahh muahh muahhh.... love u and happy study!

amirah development progress
hello papa,
as of today, amirah menjadi semakin aktif... aktif meniti niti dari one place to another sambil berpaut ke mana mana tempat yang dia boleh capai... bila berdiri, dah start lepas lepas tangan.... other than that, dia dah tahu camner nak turun dari katil guna kaki dulu instead of pakai terjun aje.... biler dah dapat turun katil dengan berjayanyer, dia nak belajar panjat katil laa pulak.... kalau benda benda yang rendah dia dah boleh panjat camtuh aje, pas tuh berdiri atas barang yang dia panjat tuh.... katil kat atas susah laa sket nak turun sebab too high compared to katil ct ngan cd...
semalam time mama nak pergi kerja, dia dah bangun... time mama nak bertolak, kak mini dukung dia sambil babai mama... dia nampak aje mama start kereta, dia nangis nak ikut... babai pon tak nak... kesian sangat tgok dia nangis... then, mama pon bawak laa amirah for a short ride... then, passed her back to kak mini before mama bertolak ke office... after dah took the ride tu, dia pon dah okay and tak nangis lagi... tgok kereta mama kuar, dia pon babai dengan muka yang sedih... macam kena paksa babai aje... ikutkan hati, nak aje mama ponteng kerja semalam....
hari ni, mama pergi kerja last lagi..... walaupun amirah insisted to follow mama, mama kena be strict and tak bawak dia for a ride like the day before so that it wont become her routine everyday. mama doesn't want amirah to think that mama need to take her for a ride everyday before going to work... walaupun dia buat muka sedih or nangis,, terpaksa laa mama tahan dan kuatkan hati.... weekend boleh laa kita naik keta gi jalan jalan.... tapi weekdays mama kena kerja laa sayang.... mama knows amirah will understand that one day...
words yang amirah semakin fluent:
mama n papa --> these words dah lama dah boleh sebut,
bird,
lampu,
baa ba --> baa baa black sheep,
tunin --> dah boleh sket sket
and other few words yang mama cannot recall
tadi before amirah tido, she was so energetic and tried to get off the bed and wanted to play near the tv and the home theater... mama terpaksa distracted her by taking out some of the flash cards which i bought long time ago for her... sambil dia sebuk menyusun the flash cards, mama pon pronounced the picture inside the card.... what i actually did was that i took out about 15 of the flash cards and put randomly infront of amirah... amirah automotically then picked up the card one by one and gave to mama to nicely compile all the cards.... each time amirah handed to mama the card, mama would tell her what picture was on the card.... everytime mama described the picture, eg: cat, baby, book, etc amirah would said sth loudly as if she was trying to repeat whatever mama was saying before in her own way... even though it sounded differentlym baby talking, mama knew that she tried to repeat whatever mama was saying... and mama was so happy that she responded positively... after semua card dah kasi mama and mama dah compiled nicely, amirah would take the cards back and sepahkan balik infront of her... then, she would repeat the same thing by handed to mama the card one by one and mama would repeatly said the words again.... sampailaa dia ngantuk... of course it will take sometime for her to catch up and pronounce the words clearly... whatever it is, mama is so proud of you, amirah....

San Gimignano
Dear Amirah and Sayang, Last Saturday, I went to San Gimignano, an old city on a hill about 1 and a half hours southwest of Firenze. Papa went there together with 4 of papa's classmates. we took a train from Firenze station to Poggibonsi station and then ride on a bus to San Gimignano. The train and bus ride were spectacular. I saw wine yards, old buildings, farms, hills and etc. Here are some of the pictures that I would like to share...
