First week at GE Nuovo Pignone

My Dear Amirah and Sayang,

The first week of classes ended at 5pm (Italian time). It was quite tiring but a lot of new information and experience.

On Monday, Papa learned a new way of communication. There are many types of people. Each categories have different criteria and ways to influence. The instructor was William Miller and he made sure that everybody in the class participated.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the topic of discussion were Basic Finance. Now Papa has stronger argument to control Mama's cash out during shopping... hehe... just joking sayang... jangan marah, nanti kena jual. The class was good because the trainer (Flavio Gabbosi) related the basic of finance with the real life analogies.

Yesterday and today were the most tiring and Papa would rate it as challenging as there were a lot of information to be absorbed. The topic was Energy Economic. Although it was challenging, now Papa has an overview on the energy situaion around the world. The instructor (Mike Howard) showed a very interesting video on the colossal structure that men have ever moved from one point to the other in the Northen Sea of Norway. It was called Troll the Skyscraper at Sea.

For your information, Alejandro, one of Papa's classmates brought along his family. Papa met with his wife his 4 year old son and 1 year old baby daughter. They are one happy family and fun people to be with too. Papa told them that both of you will join Papa in January and I will introduce them to you so that both of you can have activities together while both Papa and Alejandro in class. Amirah will have friends from Venezuala!!

Papa miss both of you so much. Looking forward to having both of you here soon.

night activity with mama

hello papa,

mama had promised to tell papa on amirah's activity inside the room during the weeknights. before mama let amirah played on the floor, mama will baby proof the room, put down the play mat, rubber mat, block the pathway to the power cables, tv, minibar, etc. then, amirah will meniti sana sini while holding to the bed frame of whatever that she can hold to support her from falling. satu bilik dia pusing... mama will keep her eye on amirah and play together with her..

amirah also enjoy to watch Little Einsteins at channel 613 (Disney Playhouse) everyday at 9.30 pm. she will watch the whole 30 mins shows and siap boleh gelak sorang sorang lagi... kelakar mama tgok dia... last 2 nights, amirah ngan mama layan movie kat HBO, citer Dragonfly starring by Kevin Costner. Mama was impressed that she could concentrate to the movie sampai habis.. sambil tgok movie tu, mama pon jadi laa narrator kat amirah, explain kat amirah... dia mmg menghayati citer tuh.... the ending of the movie was a happy ending, yet a bit depressing to us, especially to amirah and mama..

part yang paling happy and sedih biler kevin costner saw her baby girl and dia dukung and sayang baby tuh.... mama tgok reaction amirah... time amirah nampak baby tuh, dia happy sangat... amirah looked very excited to see the baby... biler kevin costner dukung and tatang baby tuh dengan penuh kasih sayang, mama rasa, she started to miss her papa... amirah macam merenung jauh aje.... dah laa rambut kevin costner tuh macam ala ala papa sket.... mama terus peluk amirah sambil explain kat amirah.. papa kat italy for 6 months and we will go and see papa in about 2 months ++ time.... she looked understand and accepted what mama said to her...

sedih tgok amirah camtuh... but mama feels that amirah is a very strong girl...

advanced 1st birthday celebration Amirah

Two weeks before papa departed to Italy which was on 20th September 08, we had a small advance celebration of Amirah's 1st birthday at home. Just about 10 of us. mama ordered a very lovely cupcakes from http://cupcakesbydatinmaryzain.blogspot.com/. From the research on the cupcakes design that mama did, mama finally came out with a sample arrangement and asked favor from Inn, the owner of the website to prepare about 36 cute cupcakes for amirah with green and pink color themes. when mama brought the cupcakes home, amirah could not wait to grab the cupcakes. after we sang the birthday song for her, she quickly grabbed the one with the duckling on top of the cupcake. She took the whole duckling and put into her mouth. aiya... so funny laa my daughter... comot comot muka makan kek ...since the duckling was made of the foundant sugar, it was sweet and chewy and later, amirah cried as she was having difficulties with the duckling in her mouth. We managed to take out the poor duckling out.

Since papa will depart on the 29th September, the family decided to have an advance celebration of Amirah's 1st birthday, together with doa selamat on 27th September (Saturday). Since it was a short notice, mama was really excited to get the best cake for amirah's celebration. We firmly decided to have the celebration on the 20th September, which exactly one week before the actual date. With the limited time and raya is coming, mama just gambled and prayed that the cake that mama wanted for amirah was still available.

On Monday, mama quickly called the person in charge from http://superbnoveltycakes.blogspot.com/. they had a superb 3D cakes available and the cakes looked so adorable especially for kids. luckily they still got a slot in for Amirah's birthday cake. Mama quickly confirmed the order and made the deposit for the cake to avoid any cancellation. Mama picked up the cake on Friday and seriously, mama was really happy that the cake turned out to be as mama expected and exactly like the one inside their website. The cake had a baby dressed like a bee sitting on top of it with number one on top of the cake. I bet the kids would really love the cake and would want to eat the cake. It turned out that the kids could not keep their eyes away from the cake and asking whether they can eat the baby!

On that day, we decorated the house a bit. Papa helped with the baloons and the goodies for the kids while looking after Amirah. mama was busy in the kitchen. We cooked authentic Negeri Sembilan food of masak lemak ikan salai, sambal tumis udang, ayam goreng (for kids), mixed vege and sambal belacan. Many relatives and neighbours turned up and enjoyed the food very much that nothing left for mama to eat except for the masak lemak and rice. hehe. After the buka puasa, we sang the birthday song for amirah and blown the candle before having the cake. kids were very happy with the ballon and the goodies (contained a note book, sweets with '1st birthday' and 'princess' covers, whitsle, party hat and baloon). Amirah wore her baju kurung and looked so adorable. she was so happy with so many kids around and slept quite late that night.

kisah 1st raya amirah lagi

hello papa.... mama sambung kisah raya amirah lagi ya... on the third day of raya, kitaorang balik penang. tido kat rumah pak teh... aini suka betol ngan amirah.... sampaikan nak mandi ngan baby amirah jugak.... amirah pon ok ngan aini.... aini pon okay ngan amirah.... even though aini lagi tua ngan besar dari amirah, dia takde pukul atau buli amirah.... aini cool la... hehe... kat penang, sebab ada geng aini, amirah tido lambat sangat... dia tahan diri dia dari tido semata mata nak main.... amirah paling suka naik basikal aini, pas tu nanti kita tolakkan basikal roda tiga tu dari belakang... siap sempat buat muka daring lagi... hehe..

esok tuh pulak gi beraya kat pulau.. lepas beraya pergi queensbay mall... sajer jalan jalan... aeryna ngan ariff pon ada skali.... balik ke kajang ahad pagi... luckily we managed to escape the jam... dari penang mula mula mak chak drive... dia volunteer nak drive sebab tak larat nak layan amirah kat belakang esp kalau dia nak kuar dari seat dia... turned out that amirah tido... so ngan mama mama skali bantai tido kat belakang... sampai kat tapah, tukar driver... mama pulak drive... tiba tiba, nak dijadikan cerita, amirah pon woke up... pas tuh mmg laa nasib mak chak... amirah ajak mak chak borak borak... lama lama dia pon boring n minta kuar.... terpaksala mak chak ikuti dan kena layan dia all the way sampai KL.. nak tido pon tak dpt...


so itula kisah amirah beraya di utara... untuk next entry, mama akan aktiviti amirah bersama mama di dalam bilik pada waktu malam (meniti-niti and layan Dragonfly).... ok papa.. we love u... you take care... muahhh... lots of hugs and kisses from malaysia

1st raya Amirah

Hello Papa, how are you? how's your classes? papa banyak jalan yek... jangan lupa bawa amirah ngan mama bila kitaorang sampai sana nanti... lepas hantar papa kat airport on 29th night tu, esok pagi, flight amirah pulak balik perlis. amirah tido all way from kajang sampai laa kat tangga nak panjat air asia tuh... mama terpaksa dukung amirah naik sebab stroller dah kena lipat and amirah pon terjaga... luckily seat sebelah mama kosong so that mama boleh letak amirah duduk kat seat kosong tuh bila amirah boring... since naik air asia, economy pulak, mmg seat dia sempit laa sket... amirah started to show sign of restless... to reduce the pressure to her ear, mama kasi susu during take off ngan during landing... dekat dekat nak sampai tuh, amirah nangis sangat sangat... my guess was that because of the pressure... and the other reason was because she was scared of the man who was sitting infront of us. waktu berdiri nak kuar from the flight, she saw the man again, and then she cried again.... aiyooo.. penat mama nak pujuk..... hehe....

sampai perlis, semua orang dah ada... aeryna ngan ariff pon dah sampai... sepanjang raya ni, amirah gang ngan ariff.... walaupun sometimes ariff ada attempt nak ketuk dia.... dia rileks saje.. tak nangis pon.... dia balas dendam ngan ariff biler ariff tido... ada one time tu, ariff tgh tido and amirah sengaja pergi kacau ariff... duduk atas ariff laa pas tuh dia pusing and kentut kat ariff.... dah bertambah cheeky princess mama ngan papa ni....

awal awal tuh, sikit sikit amirah cari mama dia... mama takboleh pergi mana mana.... nak tolong mak tok pon tak boleh... pas tuh biler mama takde kat living room aje, dia dah tahu berangkak pergi dapur cari mama dia.... biler dah jumpa mama dia kat dapur, ok laa... dia ajak mama pergi depan..... manja betul amirah ni kat perlis.... time nak tido... dia bawak bantal ngan botol susu dia pergi duduk kat atas riba maktok.... kelakar tgok gelagat dia.... byk duit raya amirah dapat... duit terkumpul setakat ini (considering belom pergi raya kat relatives belah papa lagi) dah around RM 700 ++... lagi kaya dari mama.... huhuhu....

10 months old!

Happy 10 months birhtday our daughter!! dah besar dah baby papa ngan mama ni.... akal pon besar.... amirah dah started to become a cheeky young lady... she knows how to take advantage of other people... and also likes biting things too... mentang mentang dah ada banyak gigi.... kerja nak mengigit aje.... kalau letak dia dalam baby cot, baby cot tuh digigitnyer... kalau block dia dengan badan kita, dia akan gigit tangan ke, kaki ke apa apa laa yang dia dapat grab untuk digigit... kalau kasi biscuit, kejap aje dah habis dah the whole biscuit...

right now amirah sangat kamcing dengan papa... kalau papa dukung, mmg dia takmo kat orang lain dah.... kalau papa tido, dia tarik bulu kaki papa dia just to get papa's attention... tak pon, dia datang dan baring atas dada, buat gaya manja dia... so adorable....

sometimes, we will take her to our Futsal game.... Amirah mmg tak banyak kerenah... mmg senang nak jaga dia.... kalau gik futsal, she will enjoy kicking the ball sampai sakit pinggang anybody yang kena hold dia... she is so energetic biler dapat bola atau dapat naik tangga... naik turun tangga tuh dibuatnyer... kita pulak yang letih tengok dia ke hulu ke hilir...

last 2 weeks balik Perlis to celebrate merdeka and first puasa kat sana... kakak aeryna dan abang ariff pon balik sekali... we went to mandi sungai kat Gua Kelam... amirah was so excited even though the water was so cold... papa pegang amirah while amirah busy swimming, excitedly.... kakak aeryna tak berani kuar dari pelampung dia.... when we tried to put amirah inside the pelampung, mengamuk member sebab tak dapat rendam badan dia dalam air... kat rumah mak tok, amirah kena buli dengan abang Ariff.. Abang Ariff suka datang dan cekup amirah... kakak aeryna was more friendly and tahu layan amirah as a budak kecik...

we went to a few of relatives house around ampang last weekend since papa won't be around for Raya... counting days... approximately 21 days more before papa will be away for Italy.... we feel that amirah knows that papa will be away that she trys her best to cling to papa whenever available....

amirah, don't be sad. papa and mama always love u dear... mama will try her best to be strong and will look after you while papa is away...
